August 28, 2020 - Motorcycle Fishing?

Yup, you read the headline right. "Motorcycle Fishing," but please notice the question mark.

For some time now I've wanted to know if it was possible to load up everything I'd need to go fishing, head to a lake or river a motorcycle, and catch some fish. My thinking is the challenge of packing a pole and all the needed bits (along with a chair, food, drinks, etc.) would be interesting and definitely video worthy.

Looks like it's going to happen.

I've got a friend who owns a ranch less than an hour away. Now there are lots of ranches in Texas, but not ones with 92-acre lakes on them, teaming with hungry largemouth bass.

I want to take it one step further and make it a bit more challenging. If I pull it off, I'll be using very low-end equipment such as a Zebco 202 or 33 rod and reel combo, just two or three lures,, a bobber/hook/weight setup and a small tub of worms. Sounds like fun eh? :)

So now I've got to figure out how to get everything on the Kawasaki Vulcan S and I'll be off with GoPro in hand, or on a chest mount, or something like that.

Video coming soon... I hope!
